<p>The arming device has a blocking mechanism, consisting of rods (4, 5) moving axially in housings in the bomb body. Their heads contact the base of a cylinder (1) which has in its side surface, a notch (8) which can selectively face a fin (6). This is part of a hood (7) and projects radially from the hood interior. It holds the cylinder in a position where the notch is opposite the fin. In the cylinder base is a pair of holes (13), extending through part (12) of a disc connected to a spring operated, programmable arming timer (9).</p> |
