PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for using a blower for a condenser, decrease a noise to a low level and save electric power in a device mounted on the roof of a vehicle, by dividing the condenser longitudinally of a car body of units in a car room and arranging this condenser coolably with ram air. CONSTITUTION:Condensers 12a, 12b constituting a refrigerating cycle with compressors 11, 11' and evaporators 14, 14' or the like are arranged to an inverted U-shape and provided on a roof 17 of a vehicle while divisionally arranged before and after a room unit 18 for each of both cycles. When a vehicle is moved in the direction of arrow heads B, condensers 12a, 12'b are cooled by ram air while condensers 12b, 12'a are cooled by natural radiation of heat. While when the vehicle is moved in a direction A, the condensers 12b, 12'a are cooled by ram air while the condensers 12a, 12'b are cooled by natural radiation of heat. In this way, in no relation to the moving direction of the vehicle, ram air of a train can be utilized for cooling of the condenser to eliminate the necessity for using a blower for the condenser. |
