CYCLICAL USING METHOD FOR BOILER CONDENSATE

PURPOSE:To obtain pure water without cooling boiler condensate by passing the boiler condensate in the state of high temp. through a mixed bed tower of prescribed cation and anion exchange resins and replacing the anion exchange resins before the capacity decreases to prescribed or lower values. CONSTITUTION:Stronly basic anion exchange resins and strongly acidic cation exchange resins of microporous type and I type of <=7% degree of cross-linking of divinyl benzene are packed in a mixed bed tower. Boiler condensate in the state of high temp. is passed through this mixed bed tower. Before the neutral salt decomposition of the above-described anion exchange resins decreases to 30-70%, the total quantity of the anion exchange resins is replaced. Thus, the boiler condensate is ion-exchanged in the state of high temp. whereby the need for force cooling is eliminated and pure water is obtained economically.
