Method of and apparatus for nest-casting of generally large elements (12, 14, 16) formed of multiple angular surfaces including a side forming element (16) of concrete used as a mold form together with a spaced repositionable mold form used as a side forming element (20) for forming therebetween another large element (18) of concrete. Successive cast forming operations by repositioning the side forming element (20) provide cast elements of concrete. The repositionable side forming element (20) is constructed from an assemblage of interchangeable modular structural components some of which are hingedly connected, adjustable in length, and demountable from the assemblage. Heater elements (140) and vibrating energy sources (120) may be severally applied to the appartus for compaction of the cast material and accelerating the cast process. |
