PURPOSE:To enable the uniform blending of EVA, sufficient reduction in melt molding temperature, and uniform expansion in the addition of a blowing agent, to prepare a high-quality molded article, by blending particles of a specific EVA wet with water with particles of another thermoplastic resin under molten state. CONSTITUTION:Particles of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 45-95wt%, preferably 55-80wt%, and a water content of 5-15wt% wet with water is blended with particles of another thermoplastic resin (especially polypropylene) under molten state. 0.5-100pts.wt., preferably 40-100pts.wt. particles of EVA wet with water is blended with 100pts.wt. another thermoplastic resin by an extruder with a vent, etc., directly fed to a molding machine or a proper amount of the blend is mixed with a resin to give a master batch, which is molded. |
