The bladder incontinence aid for males comprises an annular clamp fitted round the penis and with a pressure member squeezing the urethra shut. The member (7) has a rounded and relatively stiff pressure surface (10), whose radius is matched to the shape of the organs (3) on the opposite sides of the urethra, so that on tightening the clamp it presses into the penis and thrusts the urethra against these organs. The latter are supported by the remaining portions of the member, while the clamp (8,9) acts on the mainly rigid periphery of the penis. The member can be a strip of stiff material such as plastic, bent to give the desired radius.
