发明名称 Improvements in control system
摘要 1,061,396. Jet propulsion nozzles. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Aug. 25, 1964 [Sept. 26, 1963], No. 34738/64. Heading F1J. [Also in Division G3] The exhaust nozzle 11 of a jet engine employing an exhaust reheat system is normally controlled by a first control but in the event of failure, a second control is operated to move the nozzle to a predetermined position and lock the nozzle in this position so that a subsequent failure of the second control will have no effect. The nozzle 11 is operated by an actuator 30, 31 by fluid supplied by a wobble plate pump 21. The pump 21 is controlled either by the pilot or by the turbojet fuel control in known manner. A valve 35 normally connects the lines 23, 24 to lines 28, 29 leading to the actuator. A second supply 40 normally supplies oil through a line 42 to a chamber 43 between lands of a second valve 44. The second supply then flows through port 46, passage 47 and line 48 to drain. In the event of failure of the first supply, the gases passing through the nozzle act to open this nozzle causing loss of thrust. The pilot actuates the lever 55 to move the valve 35 downwards which opens line 29 to the port 46 and closes the connection between the port 46 and passage 47. As the actuator is then moved to close the nozzle 11, a rod 59 rotates a cam 61 to move the second valve 44 upwards to open a port 46a which thus allows relief of the secondary fluid. Actuation of lever 55 also acts through a connection 65 on a locking device 66 which is actuated to lock on a flange of the actuator rod 18 to hold this in a closed position.
