A process for preparing gasoline-like hydrocarbons, by which a coal gas, i.e. a gas containing CO and H2 , is mixed in the necessary proportion with water, in particular water vapor, and this mixture is directed through an iron catalyst, characterized in that the extremely finely distributed iron drops suspended in the generated coal gas in the iron bath reactor during the gasification of coal are used as the iron catalyst.</p> |
