The invention relates to a device for vapour-blast lapping and is preferably used in the pretreatment of housing parts for electroplating. The object of the invention is to provide a mechanised device which also works in liquid lapping under acceptable wear conditions and is distinguished by favourable consumption of energy and blasting agent. To achieve this object according to the invention, provision is made for a conveying device having a cyclic form of movement to be provided outside treatment chambers, arranged next to one another, for the blasting and washing and to be designed in the form of a double roller chain, in which arrangement extended pins of both roller chains project as webs to one side and have location elements there for the workpieces and their path of movement runs through the two treatment chambers. Brush strips are provided as isolation elements for the passage areas at the chamber walls. The device is used in surface-treatment technology. <IMAGE>
