<p>The precoated filter (1) filters, in particular, liquids from sugar production. A shaft (11), having attached plate-shaped filter elements (17) is rotatably mounted in a pressure vessel (2). In a precoat filtration, a filter cake of a filter aid is precoated on a filter press (74) of the filter elements (17), which filtercake is used in the subsequent filtration operation. An internal supporting chamber (33) of each filter element (17) is connected via a hollow space (38) of the shaft (11) to the outside of the pressure vessel (2). In each case an inner ring-shaped section (152; 151) of a supporting material (73) and of the filter press (74) and an inner section (153) of a baseplate (72) of each filter element (17) extend in axial alignment with a hub (27) of the filter element (17). The baseplate (72) is formed flat at least in the area in contact with the support material (73). The inner section (153) of the baseplate (72) can be attached, that is glued, to the hub (27). The seal between baseplate and hub can be effected by a sealing ring (160), if required, by means of additional attachment means (161). A guide tube (28; 29) or a guide element (156) takes over the radial guiding of the filter elements (17). <IMAGE></p> |
