<p>PURPOSE:To prevent leak of gas from the gap between the surface of a pinion and the cut surface of a casing and reduce the necessary motive power by fitting a sliding member into a groove formed on the cut surface of the casing and pressing said sliding member onto the pinion surface by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A groove 37 is formed in the longitudinal direction along the cut surface 29 on a casing 7 which makes contact with the surface of a pinion 2 facing a compression chamber 8, and a sliding member 38 suitable for sliding is inserted into said groove 37, and a coil spring or leaf spring 39 is inserted above the sliding member 38 so as to press it down, and an adjusting spring 40 is installed so as to control the strength of the spring 39. Therefore, the sliding member 38 is always attached onto the flat surface 28 of the pinion 2 with a proper pressure, and leak of gas from the point described the above is reduced, and the efficiency of the compressor can be improved, and the necessary motive power can be reduced.</p> |
