A film projection gate for a photographic printer provides improved structure (4, 5, 6, 8) for directing cooling air across the surfaces of supported film (F). An orifice (O1) for air entering the projection zone is positioned and shaped to create Coanda effect attachment of the cooling air to the film surface thereby reducing turbulence and efficiently cooling the film. |
