PURPOSE:To make a car drivable with its own power even in time of being in trouble, by causing the engine to carry out continuous ignition whenever anything unusual happens in a crank angle sensor, in case of an ignitor for internal- combustion engines. CONSTITUTION:If a crank angle sensor 6 comes in trouble, either unit angle signal S1 or reference angle signal S2 or both fail to be outputted. This phenomenon is judged by a central processing unit 2 which outputs a switching signal S8 becoming a high level when trouble happens. An oscillator 11 outputs a pulse signal S7 of the stated frequency changing the oscillating frequency when it receives a starter signal S6 transmitted in time of starter motor operation. With this, even if the crank angle sensor 6 comes into anything unusual, a car can be thus self-propelled. |
