<p>PURPOSE:To improve finishing accuracy, by adding an effect of residual stress in rolling at the stand of a rear stage to a prediction of deformation resistance at said stand when the temperature of rolling is lower than the predetermined boundary temperature. CONSTITUTION:A deformation resistance predicting device 2 decides a deformation resistance at each stand by inputting the rolling temperature, logarithmic strain, and strain speed obtained by a rolling schedule deciding device 1. The deformation resistance calculated by the device 2 is inputted to a draft position deciding device 3 to calculate a rolling load, and further, the draft position of a mill is calculated by a well-known equation of gauge meter. The decided draft position of each mill is set to each mill, and each mill is set, before rolling a material to be rolled, so that the sheet gauge of a material after rolling attains a desired value, thereby completing a set up controlling.</p> |
