Arrangement for catalytic combustion of gases from a hearth is described. There is a reaction chamber through which the gases pass. This has a structure that supports the catalyst element. It is arranged that the element takes up a relatively small part of the chamber so that the combustion happens primarily in the gas phase in the chamber. Used for heating stores such as woodstoves. Combustion of burnt gases is completed catalytically. (Provisional Basic previously advised in Week 83/31).
|
