摘要 PURPOSE:To control the quantity of air for combustion of pulverized coal in the stage of controlling the blasting rate into a blast furnace by using a part of the compressed air to be supplied to a hot stove as a carrier gas for the coal in blowing the coal into the blast furnace through its tuyeres. CONSTITUTION:The hot wind to be fed into a blast furnace BF is pressurized with a fan 1 and is fed into a hot stove HS via a flowmeter 2, by which the wind is heated to a high temp. The heated air is blown into the blast furnace through its tuyeres 5. In this case, part of the pressurized air is removed from the position T before entering the stove HS and is cooled with a cooler 9a. After the pressurized air is dehumidified with a dehumidifier 12, the air is pressurized up to prescribed pressure with a compressor 1b. The pressurized air is cooled with a cooler 9b and is stored in a receiver tank 13. The pulverized coal P stored in a tank 6 for pressure feeding is removed from the removing port 7 in the bottom part and is blown by the compressed air of a receiver tank 13 into the furnace BF through the tuyeres 5. Since the combustion of the coal and the blasting rate into the blast furnace are controlled unitarily, the blast furnace is operated stably and easily.
