PURPOSE:To make large adjustment possible and to make the materials having various sizes and sectional shapes rollable by setting the gap between rolling roll with spacers between roll chocks. CONSTITUTION:One or plural spacers 28 are interposed between roll chocks 16, 16' and a roll gas delta thereof is set. A rolling roll 12 is moved with respect to a rolling roll 12' by extending or contracting the cylinder rod 26a of a hydraulic cylinder 26, whereby the gap delta can be adjusted. The spacers 28 have a tapered shape and when the spacers move in their longitudinal directions, the roll gap is set at a prescribed value. Thus, the rolls 12, 12' are maintained at the prescribed roll clearances delta set by the spacers 28, by a rolling down means 24. |
