PURPOSE:To attain ease of adjustment and highly reliable phase characteristics, by adjusting the phase required for a distributor/adder at a phase adjuster in each antenna module. CONSTITUTION:Constant amplitude and phase requirements of a distributor/ adder 3 connecting a plurality of antennas 11, antenna modules 10, a transmission section 1 and a receiver 12 are attained by adjusting only the amplitude of the distributor/adder 3 and adjusting the phase of transmission system phase adjusters 4 and reception system phase adjusters 9 of each antenna module 10 so that the phase of transmission or reception system including the distributor/ adder can be adjusted totally. Thus, the design of each part can be done easily and the adjusting time can be reduced, the number of adjustments is less, the accumulation of error generated at each adjustment can be avoided and sure phase characteristics can be realized. |
