PURPOSE:To reduce frictional resistance force of a paper, and to exactly separate the paper from its carrying body without making the paper generate buckling and jam, by placing a separating pawl in order in the carrying direction of the paper, and making it press-contact with the tip of the paper in order. CONSTITUTION:A turning shaft 13 is placed at a prescribed interval from a photoreceptor 12, and on the shaft 13, separating pawls 15a-15c are placed in a state that they have been fixed at prescribed intervals in the width direction of the photoreceptor 12. Also, on the lower part of the photoreceptor 12, a transfer charger 19 and a transfer paper separating charger 20 are placed so as to be opposed. In this state, when a paper feed roll 21 rotates, transfer paper 17 is fed by synchronizing with a toner image of the photoreceptor 12 so as to contact with the photoreceptor 12 between the photoreceptor 12 and the charger 19. The separating pawls 15a-15c are placed in order in the carrying direction of the transfer paper 17, are made to press-contact in order with the tip of the transfer paper 17 which is carried in a state that it has contacted with the photoreceptor 12, and the transfer paper 17 is separated in the direction of both end parts from the center part in order. |
