PURPOSE:To increase the number of elements in the line direction efficiently without increasing the number of sensors and optical components, by fitting an area sensor to optical fibers of which one end is arranged in a line, and the other end is arranged in two-dimensional way. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 5 are prepared for, e.g., 10,000 elements, area sensors 7 of, e.g., 500X500 elements, and primary/secondary dimension conversion unit blocks of the optical fibers of, e.g., 500, then the optical fibers arranged by 10,000 in a line on a photodetecting plane are rearranged into 500X20 columns, which copes with 500X20 elements of the area sensors 7. Through the rearrangement like this, even if the number of elements on the photodetector plane is increased, the system is constituted without increasing the number of sensors. |
