PURPOSE:To realize a multiplying circuit formed with semiconductors, by providing an input voltage taking a Zener voltage of a Zener diode as a center to the Zener diode as an input. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is inputted between terminals IN1 and IN2. When an input voltage exceeding a Zener voltage of a Zener diode ZD1 exists, the diode ZD1 is conductive and an output appears at a terminal OUT2. When the input voltage is the Zener voltage or below, an output appears at a terminal OUT1. The relation between the input and output voltages forms a triangle where the output voltage becomes maximum when the input voltage is the Zener diode voltage. In providing an AC voltage taking the Zener voltage as an input voltage, the AC voltage having double frequency appears between the terminals OUT1 and OUT2. Since the Zener diode can be manufactured with good accuracy on the semiconductor technology, the multiplying circuit can be integrated. |
