An anti-speed road ramp unit consists of a rubber block (1) with an upper surface having a flat centre portion (2) and end ramps (3 and 4), a transverse groove (10) in the underside, light reflecting means (19-21) embedded in the end ramps and grooves in the upper surface for grip and drainage. The groove (10) is shaped to grip a scaffold pole coupling adjacent blocks in a row.
