PURPOSE:To surely perform the disk loading operation, by projecting and driving a controlling member which corresponds to the size of the disk in accordance with the output of a disk size judging circuit. CONSTITUTION:A fixed blocking plate 24 is installed to the central part of an opening and both ends of the opening is set in such a way that, when disk guide members 4 and 4' move to the closing direction and reach a prescribed location, they block the optical path of optical sensors and determine the minimum width of the opening. That is to say, when no disk exists on the optical sensors, the disk guide members 4 and 4' move in the direction of reducing the width of the opening. When the disk guide members 4 and 4' reach a prescribed location and the blocking plate 24 blocks the optical path of either one of the optical sensors, the output of both gates becomes ''L'' level and the movement of the disk guide members 4 and 4' is stopped, and thus, the minimum width of the opening is determined. |
