PURPOSE:To stably stop a turntable and to lightly rotate the turntable by hand, by combining an electronic brake for a driving motor and two sets of mechanical brakes having different braking forces and operating and releasing the brake. CONSTITUTION:When a stop signal is given to a record player under playing, an electronic brake 10 for the driving motor of a turntable 1, the 1st mechanical brake 4 having large braking force through a plunger driving circuit, and the 2nd mechanical brake 5 having small braking force are operated by a timer circuit 11 and the turntable 1 is stopped. Then, the brakes 10 and 4 are released by the circuit 11 and the turntable 1 is left stopped by the small braking force of the brake 5. By this constitution, the turntable is stably stopped and can be rotated lightly by hand. |
