PURPOSE:To enable an effective and comfortable air conditioning by a method wherein a latent heat exchanging element and an apparent heat exchanging element are arranged in a case rotatably independently, and two impellers are provided to flow air in reversed direction in two air passages defined by a partition plate within the case. CONSTITUTION:A latent heat exchanging element 11 and apparent heat exchanging element 11' are arranged in the case 12 rotatably independently, and a partition plate 15 is provided in the rotary shaft direction within the case 12. The impellers 17 and 18 are provided to move the air within the two air passages defined by the partition plate 15 in the reversed directions respectively. At a time of air cooling in the summertime, the elements 11 and 11' are both driven, while the element 11' only is driven in a rainy season. When a remarkable difference is not detected in the temperature and humidity between the indoor and outdoor, therefore only a ventilation is needed, the element 11 and 11' are both inoperative with only a fan put in operation. Thus in accordance with all conditions of temperature and humidity indoors and outdoors, an effective and comfortable air conditioning is possible. |
