<p>PURPOSE:To perform the simultaneous measurement of the thickness, width, length, and thickness gradient in the width direction of the steel plate continuously without contact, by performing on line processing of information from various sensors. CONSTITUTION:Trucks 1 are normally constituted by three trucks. Two trucks are used for measuring the edge of the steel plate. The remaining one truck is used for measuring the central part of the steel plate. A plate thickness sensor 2 and a position sensor 4, which measures the position of the edge, are mounted on the truck for measuring the edge of the steel plate, and a plate thickness sensor 2 and a steel plate speed sensor 5 are mounted on the truck for measuring the central part of the steel plate.</p> |
