<p>PURPOSE:To carry out horizontal orientation by pressing an orienting member having many fine grooves with a directional property on the surface against a plastic film substrate having a formed display electrode to transfer the grooves. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode 9 of indium oxide or the like with 300OMEGA resistance value and external connectors 10 are formed on one side of a polyester film 8 having 100mum thickness, and the electrode 9 is faced to a plate 11 of glass or the like as a horizontally orienting member. The plate 11 has grooves 12 each having 1mum width and 1mum depth at pitches. The plate 11 is heated to 130-180 deg.C and pressed against the film 8 for 1-5sec like an arrow 13. Thus, fine grooves having the reverse shape to the shape of the grooves 12 cut in the plate 11 are transferred on the surface of the electrode 9 on the film 8.</p> |
