<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize the configuration of a brake system by using a dust preventive boot, which is provided to enclose against the outside air an opening formed either in the fixation part to the car body or the callipers and a slide fitting part of the slide pin, and equipping the callipers with a return sliding action. CONSTITUTION:This slide support construction is equipped with an outside circumferential groove 5a in the slide pin 5 to be fitted in an opening 7 provided in the callipers 6 and with a dust preventive boot 9 to be mounted stretching over to the edge part 7a of open mouth of the opening 7. This boot 9 is composed of a hard outer cylinder part 9a running in the bus line direction from the mount part of the callipers side opening 7 to the edge part 7a of the open mouth, an inner cylinder part 9b running toward the opening 7 from the mount part of the slide pin 5 to the outside circumferential groove 5a, and a soft meandering part 9c connecting them above in continuity. At the outside surface of the inner cylinder part 9b, two or more recesses 9d are formed while a tongue piece 9e to be in engagement with these recesses 9d is provided at the outer cylinder part 9a, and the callipers 6 are put in return sliding by the restoration force from deformation of this tongue piece 9e when brakes are put out of application.</p> |
