PURPOSE:To obtain fancy yarns having the unperiodically different number of twists in the long direction thereof, by holding the running yarns running while twisted in a twisting zone unperiodically. CONSTITUTION:In a yark twisting frame or doubling and twisting frame for twisting a yarn (Y) emerging from feed rollers 1 by the difference in the rotation of a traveler 4 and a spindle 5, and winding the yarn onto a bobbin inserted in the spindle 5, a pair of rollers 9 and 9' for strongly holding the running yarn (Y) while twisted, a solenoid 13 for pressing or separating one roller 9 from the other roller 9', a rod 12 and an electric power source 14 for generating an unperiodic voltage are provided between the feed rollers 1 and a snail wire guide 6 provided before the traveler 4. |
