PURPOSE:To provide the above-titled apparatus using a magneto generator or the like, which is capable of obtaining a proper ignition timing by the output of a sensor and the output of a coil for charging an igniting capacitor of the magneto generator. CONSTITUTION:According to the present invention, the ignition timing of an internal combustion engine is determined by making comparison between the waveform of the charging and discharging voltage of a computing capacitor 13 and a reference voltage by means of a comparison transistor 17. Here, since arrangement is such that a low-speed fixing part (the position where the advance angle of the ignition timing is minimum) and a high-speed fixing part (the position where the advance angle of the ignition timing is maximum) correspond respectively to the output pulse of a sensor 10 and a pulse-like induction voltage of a charging coil 1 produced after the output pulse of the sensor 10, stability of the ignition timing at the ignition timing fixing parts is very high. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to obtain proper ignition timing controlling characteristics consisting of the low-speed fixing part, a medium-speed part and the high- speed fixing part. |
