Rush mat was manufd. by texturing slender pipe-type or foamed thermoplastic resin of synthetic rush having 0.05-0.4 bulky sp.gr. Thus, a mixt. of acrylic polymer mixed of acrylonitrile 88, methyl methacrylate 10, and p-styrene sodium sulfonate 2%, 5% sodium bicarbonate 12 and acrylonitrile 28 parts was melted at 160≦̸C and spun through 1.2 mm orifice with elongating 1.2 times at 120≦̸C. The obtained acrylic rush 50 parts and polypropylene 50 parts were textured atternately to make a synthetic acrylic rush mat.
