PURPOSE:To prevent the defective developing of PS plates by disposing detecting ribbons which detect the degrees of fatigue of developing solns. in developing tanks for developing of presensitized plates printed with printing patterns from original plate films. CONSTITUTION:A photoengraving device is disposed with detecting ribbons 4 which detect the degrees of fatigue of developing soln. in developing tanks 3 for developing presensitized plates printed with printing patterns from original plate films 2. Each ribbon 4 is a belt-like continuous body which is put on a pair of reels 5 and is taken up on one reel 5 by each prescribed length. Thus the need for providing detecting parts of PS plates as in the prior art is eliminated. In addition, the degrees of fatigue of the developing solns. are observed at desired times and the defective developing of the PS plates is prevented. |
