PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out a mounting operation by a nut in a short time by fitting a mounting flange part in a recess, and mounting a mounting flange part through a projection nut and a screw. CONSTITUTION:The protector 20 encircles joint flange parts 11a and 12a of muffler 10 and outer peripheries of both sides, and a position opposing to both mounting flange parts 15 and 16 at a substantially central part of the protector 20 protrudes outwardly. Both mounting flange parts 15 and 16 are fitted into said projection 21 to form a recess 22. The protector 20 is fitted into the mounting flanges 15 and 16 through a projection nut 23 and a screw 24 in a state where the mounting flange parts 15 and 16 are fitted in said recess 22. |
