发明名称 CONNECTING SYSTEM OF SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP ELEMENT AND OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress a drop of resolution, and to prevent bit missing of picture information, by cutting a surface to which an optical fiber flux is connected, by keeping an inclined angle, so that the diameter of one optical fiber to be connected coincides with size of a solid-state image pickup element. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber diameter 6 is manufactured slightly smaller than width of an element, and an optical fiber flux 2 is cut by a suitable section 14 having an angle 13 for obtaining desired connecting surface width 12 which is coincident with the element width in the axial direction 11. As for the optical fiber flux 2 coupled with an optical system 1, the section 14 is connected in parallel with the photodetecting surface of a solid-state image pickup element 3, and one optical fiber system 12 is caused to coincide with width 5 of one element. In this way, it is possible to prevent occurrence of a drop of resolution due to dissidence of size, an optical loss in the connecting part, bit missing of a picture element, etc.
