This invention relates to an origianl feeder of an electrophotographic copying machine of which the type is referred to as moving type in which a sheet original or a thick original on a book carrier is fed over an exposure window. A sheet original is held between the pairs of aligned rollers(4A)(4B)(5A)(5B) amd fed to an exposure window(8). In copying from a thick original in the form of a book or the like, a book carrier is used. As soon as a drive roller unit(35) with drive rollers(4B)(5B) and a guide plate(6) is turned through an angle of 180, a supporting member(70) which maintaing the proper protrusion of drive rollers-from the guide plate.
