<p>The framework for the canopy of e.g. a lorry comprises cross-members (1) interconnecting vertical posts positioned along each side of the load platform. Bars (3) extend between adjacent cross-members and carry trapezoidal rubber blocks (5) on their ends which are held captive in correspondingly shaped brackets (4) welded to the cross-members. During installation, the bottom edge of each block (5) is forced between the bracket base (4a) and upright (4b) and the bar rotated causing the opposite edge (5b) of the block to locate under the opposite upright.</p> |
