The speed is controlled through the effect of the process initiated by the igniting spark in the ignition system. - After the complete ignition cycle, a time pulse is initiated to which is given a duration corresponding to the time up to the trigger pulse position for a successive trigger pulse at a frequency corresponding to the required engine speed. The time pulse is initiated by one of the ignition system work voltages or work pulses. The ignition system is affected by the time pulse in such a way that when an adjusted governor speed is achieved, there is a lowering of the ignition point.
