The circular target is shot at during movement along the ground surface, and splinters on being hit. The target comprises a clay pigeon which consists of a splintering section and a surrounding protective ring preventing splintering of the clay pigeon on contacting the ground. The ring is so fitted on the clay pigeon that the centre of gravity of the latter is altered, allowing the target to roll on the ground. |
