PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the access time to a shared memory from a computer system, by holding a part of the data within a shared memory between the computers into a shared memory interface between the computers. CONSTITUTION:The address signal 10 transmitted via a driver receiving circuit 5 is set to an address register 6 and then fed to an address coincidence detecting circuit 18 to be checked whether it coincides with either one of the addresses in an address register group 16. In other words, in case an access is given to a shared memory via a shared memory bus 1 between the computers, the data of the addresses following an access request are stored temporarily in the register group 16 and a data register group 17 while keeping the correspondence between the address and the data. Then the data in the group 17 is read out and transferred without giving an access to the shared memory if the address of the next data fetch request exists in the group 16. |
