PURPOSE:To form a smooth continuous surface between a front seat and a rear seat by providing a link mechanism between the lower part of a rear seat cushion and a vehicle floor, and making the whole of the rear seat cushion backwardly movable. CONSTITUTION:A front seat cushion 14 provided with a front seat back 13 capable of inclining backward is fixed on an upper rail 12 placed on a lower rail 11 fixed on a car floor 10. A rear seat cushion 15 is fixed on the vehicle floor 10 via a link mechanism 16 on the bottom, and is movable by an overlapping portion with the rear seat cushion 15 to form a smooth continuous surface when the front seat back 13 is allowed to incline backward. In order to form a smoother continuous surface, a part of the rear cushion 15 or the rear seat back 17 may be turned. |
