PURPOSE:To facilitate swing-out and accommodation works for a gangway ladder by allowing an arm member installed on a hull to be slided in a guide groove formed on the handrail fence of the gangway ladder through the ascending and descending transfer of the gangway ladder and by allowing the handrail fence of the gangway ladder to be lifted and laid-down by said sliding of the arm member. CONSTITUTION:When a winch 17 is operated to draw-out a rope 18, a davit 15 is turned around a pin because of the dead weight of a gangway ladder 1, and the edge part of the davit 15 and the gangway ladder 1 are swung-out nearly horizontally to the outside of gunwale. When the rope 18 is drawn-out further, the gangway ladder 1 is turned around a hinge 11 and lowered. At this time, an arm 23 equipped with the davit 15 is slided in a guide groove 24 formed on the handrail on a handrail fence of the gangway ladder. Then, the handrail 2 and stanchious 3 are lifted-up through said sliding of the arm 23, and the handrail fences 25 are lifted-up. After standing, an operator only connects the handrail stanchion stay 6 to the gangway ladder 1 by means of a pin 7. |
