The plough comprises plough blades mounted beneath a carrier, with the blades freely mounted on the carrier. An operating link is mounted between the carrier and the blades, and an actuator imposes transverse vibratory motion, of suitable amplitude and frequency, on the blades in order to reduce the resistance exerted by the soil. The blades are articulated from the carrier about a vertical axis. A double acting hydraulic cylinder is linked at one end to the carrier. A servo-valve supplies fluid under pressure to the cylinder, alternately to one side then the other.
