PURPOSE:To reduce the number of cores of a code of a radio telephone set, etc., and to improve the operability of a handset, by sending out a contact signal on the basis of the operation detection signal of a dial switch and a clock pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:When a dial switch 12 is operated to generate a contact signal corresponding to the operation position, the generation is detected by a timing circuit 15, whose detection signal is sent out to the control circuit 36 of a base set 30. A clock pulse signal from the circuit 36 is sent out to the parallel-series converting circuit 16 of a handset 10 and each contact signal of the switch 12 while converted from parallel to series synchronously with the clock pulse signal is sent out to the circuit 36. The contact signal of a switch 11 is also sent out similarly. The circuit 36 converts each input contact signal into a digital code signal, which is sent out from a transmitter 32 to a base station through a radio circuit 4, thus obtaining a call ready state. |
