PURPOSE:To decrease the number of keys and to perform a quick key operation with just a finger tip, by feeding characters with a combination between the 1st and 2nd key switches which show the lateral and longitudinal rows of the HIRAGANA Japanese syllabary. CONSTITUTION:Five letters ''A-O'' are fed by operating the 1st key switches 2, 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D respectively with the right hand. Then 20 letters ''KA-HO'' are fed by operating either one of the 1st key switches with the right hand and at the same time operating either one of the 2nd key switches 3, 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D with the left hand. Then 25 letters following ''NA'' are fed by operating either one of the 1st key switches with the right hand, either one of the 2nd key switches with the left hand and a KANA (Japanese syllabary) key switch 6 respectively at one time. |
