PURPOSE:To provide both ventilating performance and fire preventing characteristics by a method wherein a hood is provided at the window hole of a kitchen, a damper vane is installed inside of the hood, the window hole is formed to be capable of shutting by the temperature rise inside of the hood via a fuse device, and the damper is engaged at an opening condition of the window hole. CONSTITUTION:The window hole 2 is formed at the outside wall 1 to connect the indoor and the outdoor. The box-shaped hood 4 is installed with screws 5 on the outside surface 1a of the outside wall 1 via the waterproof seal material 3 so as to surround the opening part of the window hole 2. The hood 4 is composed of the connecting hole 4b, an air intake hole 4c and a net body 4d for keeping off the insects. The damper vane 7 provided inside of the hood 4 can rotate centering the hinge 6 and shut the connecting hole 4b. The damper vane 7 is usually engaged with a fuse device C at the brace 12 on the upper surface inside of the hood 4. When the inside temperature of the hood 4 is raised by the fire etc., the damper vane 7 is rotated and engaged with the connecting hole 4b by the engaging means 8 resulted by the melting of the fuse body 10 of the fuse device C. |
