PURPOSE:To avoid the reduction in the S/N and attenuation of a reproduced signal due to an external magnetic field, by providing the 2nd and 3rd magnetic cores in opposition to a clipped magnetic recording medium, in a magnetic head having a main magnet pole and the 1st magnetic cores clipping the magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic heads 202, 203 are arranged to clip a medium 201 and a pair of the heads form one magnetic head. The 2nd and 3rd magnetic cores 207, 208 are arranged at the outside of the magnetic core 205 provided in opposition to a main magnetic pole 204 made of a high permeability magnetic thin film so as to clip the medium 201, and an equivalent magnetic reluctance of a gap between opposing surfaces of the main magnetic pole 204 and the magnetic core 205 is made larger than that of the gap between the opposing surfaces of the cores 207, 208, then in flowing a recording current to coil 206, magnetic paths A, B are formed via the medium between the heads 202 and 203, the magnetic field near the magnetic pole 204 at the path A is made very higher, allowing to perform magnetizing recording on the medium 201. |
