<p>In a device for driving the weft-inserting needles of a shuttleless loom in a rectilinear reciprocating movement, each needle is connected to the needle-actuating system by means of a flexible connecting member or so-called flector and is guided within a rail by means of a block of antifriction material attached to the end of the needle. By means of the device, vibrations of the driving mechanism are not transmitted to the weft-inserting needle at high operating speeds of the loom.</p> |
