In the combustion of oil, on the one hand heat and on the other hand expansion are produced. Until now, use has been made of either only the heat (heating installations), the expansion being carried off unused, or the expansion (fuel engine), the heat having to be rendered harmless. In this connection, it is to be shown with this system, that both can be combined together, as a result of which on the one hand the energy being produced by combustion can be optimally used, as a result of which there is a considerable saving of crude oil, and on the other hand industrial use can be of great significance. In industrial use, it is conceivable that the heating elements can be arranged in a steam boiler, into which the water heated by the engine is pumped, which is thus further heated to steam temperature. The exhaust steam can be guided back to the engine again via a condensing pipe, the heat of which can likewise be used.
