This circuit allows a narrow-band tracking filter (13) to be used which would otherwise would contribute to an unwanted oscillation. The filter and demodulation circuit exhibits a controllable phase modulator (12) which precedes the tracking filter and which is supplied with a correcting voltage (UN) which is inverted compared with the correcting voltage (UN) for the tracking filter. <IMAGE>
