A sealing part for foundation-wall corners which is designed as a one-piece, water-tight plastic or rubber moulding with two upright foundation-wall bearing areas, arranged at an angle to one another, and a moisture-deflection area projecting from the bearing areas. The use of sealing parts of this type together with a plastic sheet having rear prominences. A method of sealing foundation walls having corners, in which method sealing parts of this type are first of all put on and then a plastic sheet is attached which overlaps the foundation-wall bearing areas of the sealing parts and/or is adhesively bonded or welded to the sealing parts. <IMAGE>
